Technical Education plays a pivotal role in the development of any country. We are speedily marching towards a knowledge based society. The contribution of science and technological research has helped a lot for economical development and removal of poverty in the country. From last two decades Govt. of Maharashtra through its qualitative and quantitative expansion in technical education has tried its level best to full fill the requirements of Technical manpower necessary for industries, institutes and society at large.

            With the view to have academic and administrative control at regional level, the Joint Director of Technical Education office has been upgraded from the office of the Deputy Director of Technical Education in the year 1997. This office through its full capacity is guiding, controlling and leading different Degree, Diploma, Management, Pharmacy, Architecture and other technical programs in various institutes of Amravati Region and thereby meeting the aspirations of the technocrats by imparting various courses through the institutes given below;
